Details

When ordering your embosser, you can choose from four pressing orientations: from below, from above, from the right, or from the left.

This choice determines the angle at which the paper enters the embosser and therefore the position of the embossing on your media (books, cards, letters, etc.).

Here is a short guide to help you make the right choice:

  • 🔽 From the bottom
    Ideal for embossing the bottom of a card, envelope, or invitation card.

    ➤ Example: discreetly mark the bottom corner of an announcement card.
  • 🔼 From the top
    Perfect for embossing at the top of a sheet of paper or letter.

    ➤ Example: embossing a personalized letterhead.
  • ➡️ From the right
    Recommended for embossing the inside of a book, on a right-hand page.

    ➤ Example: ex-libris on the first page of a book.
  • ⬅️ On the left
    Less common, but useful if you want to mark the left page of a book or according to personal preference.

Production time

The bookplate is engraved within 7 days. An emergency option is available for last-minute gifts (15 euros supplement - engraving and shipping within 4 days).

Shipping

Shipping is free for all orders over €250. Below this amount, shipping costs for mainland France are €4.95. For Europe, they are €9.95. For international orders, €19.95.

What is the difference between the two embossers?

  • The luxury embosser is heavier, stable and elegant – ideal for home use or as a beautiful gift.
  • The portable embosser is lighter and more compact – perfect for on-the-go use or as a gift.

What are the production deadlines?

  • Engraving and production : within 7 to 10 working days
  • Shipping: 5 to 6 days in mainland France, from our workshop

What type of paper can I use my embosser on?

It works perfectly on papers between 80 and 250g : book pages, letters, envelopes, menus, etc.

For clean embossing, avoid papers that are too stiff or very textured above 250g.
