What is a bookplate?

A bookplate is a personalized engraving or stamp stamped on the first page of a book, indicating the name of its owner or the library to which it belongs.

How many letters can I add to this bookplate?

You can add up to 20 characters on this bookplate. If your name is longer than this, please contact us!

How is this bookplate made?

Each drawing is custom illustrated by Lauren, our illustrator, following your inspirations.

It is then hand-engraved in our workshop in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, on a wooden handle mounted with a rubber plate.

Édition numérotée, qu'est-ce c'est ?

Chaque modèle de notre collection est gravé par séries de douze exemplaires numérotés.

Lorsqu'une série est complète, elle est close — définitivement, et jamais rouverte. Un même modèle peut en revanche revenir plus tard au fil de l'année et de la demande, dans une nouvelle série, avec sa propre numérotation. C'est le principe des tirages successifs d'un livre !

Votre exemplaire porte donc deux nombres : celui de sa série et le sien à l'intérieur. Ils vous sont communiqués dans votre email de confirmation de commande.
