What is a bookplate?

A bookplate is a personalized engraving or stamp stamped on the first page of a book, indicating the name of its owner or the library to which it belongs.


It usually represents a personal symbol, an illustration that evokes the personality of its owner.

What happens after I place an order?

  1. Following your order, our illustrator Lauren begins illustrating your idea based on the elements you have provided (photos, mood board, explanations, etc.).

  2. Within 7 days*, you will receive their first drawing proposal by email .

  3. You will then be entitled to one (1) round trip for modifications if necessary, to refine the design together until perfection!

  4. As soon as you have validated the final version of the drawing, we begin engraving your bookplate in our workshop.

  5. Your order will be shipped 4 to 5 days later.

    *Shorter delivery times possible with the emergency option

How is this bookplate made?

Each drawing is custom illustrated by Lauren, our illustrator, following your inspirations.

It is then hand-engraved in our workshop in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, on a wooden handle mounted with a rubber plate.

Is this possible from my photo?

Of course, this is even our specialty!

Simply drag the photo when ordering, and we will use it as inspiration for the illustration.
